Seems like everyone I know is seriously getting into the blog world. I'm not too sure how I feel about it though. Like blogging is now going to become the new official thing for social networking.
Oh dear, like I can seriously deal with that.

Things are finally going into top spin regarding too many things to do in my life.
I never actually thought I would be writing as much as I have been these past few days.
If there is one thing I have figured out, I don't plan on becoming a deadline reporter, because I think I would have to kill myself soon after wards. The whole concept of seeing a speaker during the evening and then racing to get an article written up to its perfect, tip-top edit before 1:30 AM is kinda surreal. I like to take my time with articles, but I guess it takes classes like this one to show me what I shouldn't be planning on doing in my near future.

I confirm my Major tomorrow. I believe its going to be Strategic Communications with a minor in Public World Relations. Sounds about right.

I haven't really been listening to any new music lately. I've been pretty addicted to this particular playlist on my iTunes that I made a few days ago that consists of awesome Elvis Costello and Bob Dylan. I guess I'll hop onto the music scene tomorrow. See what's absolutley raging (from what I've been told, Phish is supposed to be releasing an AMAZING album soon)
Super stoked.

Goodnight everyone <3

Totally in love with this band that iTunes introduced me to, Parachute.

Its unfortunately kinda pop sounding, almost reminds me of those girly bands that you see in concert with Boys like Girls and stuff.
But this band has a really cool thing about them, the music is sustainable and I love to listen to them.

Check them out: http://www.myspace.com/weareparachute

One awesome concert after another.
I've been totally blessed with being able to see so many good concerts in my college years since really that's when you really start to develop your music taste.

Jason Mraz though blew my mind. He's one of those artists that is ALL about his band and is so focused on the music and everyone. One of the most unselfish performers I've seen live.
He didn't run off stage after his encore like any other girl-fab-obsessed artist would've done.
He came up with the house lights on, thanked his entire band and was saying how grateful he was to be here and to be living. I was just overall really impressed.
Not to mention he played three Bob Marley songs (:

Thank goodness for this though.
I thought I was going to end my week on a HORRID note, but Jason made it all better.

I'm in love with Pat Monahan and have always been.
This songs made me think of the past.

It's not always a fairytale ya know.

I've been feeling a little lonely lately, but not so much then I did last year.
My suitemates are more than just awesome. I'm getting much closer to everyone, especially Laura and Lauren. It's crazy to see how well people get along after a certain amount of time.

Classes are kinda kicking me in the ass already. My mom is talking about the possibility of me transferring again and doing well in my classes just in case I might have to. It's starting to frustrate me, considering she brings it up every time I get on the phone with her. But we'll have to really see how things go this year. The last thing I need at the moment is more additional pressure to perform to my up-most best and then be alright with moving it all back home. Not saying that I don't love Florida and all my friends, but it's difficult when I've worked on making a comfortable base here in North Carolina and developing friendships that I know will last me a lifetime.
Once again, I have to stare into a cloudy crystal ball and just hope to God that things will come together, even if that means making sacrifices for my parent's benefit.

I'm dying to make additions to my camera collection. My 35 mm has been acting up and has been having flash difficulties. Kinda sad, especially since I've been getting really into taking photos. However, I've got my eyes on a few that I want to get into my possession soon.
In the meantime, I've been playing with my suitemate's Nikon that is to die for.

Also, I've been realizing with every dish that I make and aroma that I concoct, I'm actually a pretty talented cook. I'm getting to the point where I'm winging dishes and being able to pull off something totally delicious. Thank you Mom for this talent (:

Old song that I heard on this movie today. Makes me think about a lot of things, but it's also becoming one of my most favorite songs that I've heard in quite a while. Lyrics are pretty legit and the sound is just incredibly soothing. Sing it Lauryn Hill

Classes have been actually quite good this past week. I'm currently taking this Project Publishing class that is a lot of Public Relations work and ideas and etc. I'm really happy I found this 400 level class at the last minute (:

All my professors seem to be sane (with the exception to perhaps my Media Writing teacher and her 12 page syllabus) But then again, she seems harmless. She just is all about her students excelling, which is totally fine by me.

So its come to this: I'm going to have a late-night talk show regarding that embarrassing celebrity and political gossip that my idol, Chelsea Lately, talks about every night on the E! weeknights.
I'm so thrilled to get this show already on the road and to have it start getting popular.

Alright so off to read articles for my Religion class. I felt obligated to let my bloggers know what I was up to lately (:

Band of the week: Rilo Kiley (I've kinda liked them since I was 15, so flashbacks are always great)
